Buddhism and Anthroposophy/1

An interview with Arthur Zajonc

Arthur Zajonc is professor of physics at the Amherst College in Massachusetts, United States. He joined the anthroposophical congress "The search of the Ego", which took place in Bologna exactly 100 years after Rudolf Steiner's participation in another philosophical congress in 1911.

Prof. Zajonc has held a number of meetings with His Holiness the Dalai Lama and acted as a moderator in the 2003 "Investigating the Mind" conference at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The interview focuses on the relationship between the Buddhist emptiness of Self and the centrality of the Ego in Anthroposophy.
